Introduction

The purpose of this manual is to build, consolidate, and standardize the visual identity of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement. This is a guide, which presents the essence of our new visual identity. Here you will find the guidelines that will allow us to together construct a new, modern, and inspiring visual communication, aligned with our faith, positioning, attributes, and values.

The manual aims to guide the application of the new brand in all its visual manifestations. Here you will find the elements that make up our exclusive visual identity: graphics, type fonts, color palettes, and fundamental guidelines for the application of the brand. These are the key elements in creating visual materials that truly convey the position, values and attributes of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement.

The visual identity of the brand is the way in which it presents itself to the public and how its name is conveyed, which colors are predominant in the various pieces of communication and environments it uses, the style of the images, the personality printed on a business card, at the bottom of an email, and how it presents itself on social networks.

Context

The Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement is a global organization that aims to grow by spreading a unique and special message about the eternal Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As such, the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement needs to: affirm a unique brand consistent with its Mission, Purpose, and Values; operate under a single name and image.

The use of a unique name and image will help increase brand awareness and add a familiar and uniform tone to the church. All of this will help convey a clear message based on the attributes expressed through this new brand.

Mission

Take the Gospel of Christ to the world through a united and inspiring voice. Restore, defend, and spread the Gospel message by example. Draw the attention of the world to the restoration of God’s principles. Impact the world through the demonstration of God’s love in a practical manner.

Values

Love, Biblical knowledge, unity

Manifesto

Explanation of the universe in which the brand concept exists, in what context it applies, and what relationship it can have with its public’s everyday life.

It is time to find peace in the midst of chaos. It is time to be the light amid the darkness. It is time to have and bring hope of a new world. But for this, we need to have a deep relationship with God. We need to know Him and live Him, daily. Only then can we take His love into the world.

The battle need not be lonely. Together, we can become stronger in faith and unite to restore what was lost, to evolve as families, as a church, and as a society. Come experience and spread this love and this hope, becoming one with us and one with Christ.

Logo

Considering the global context of the church, it is imperative to have a responsive brand that adjusts and fulfills all the many ways it will be applied (from stationary, to van decals, social media posts, church signs, t-shirts, and more).

With this in mind, we applied the uniformity in common that existed in the various old logos, to create something new, responsive, and global.

Having the Bible as the base and the wings wrapping around the world, which is no longer explicit in the logo, rather implicit.
